Ken Hinman is a recognized global leader in the luxury sector of consumer products as a Chief Designer, Head of Sales and Operations, Global Marketing Officer, and Branding and Distribution Officer. He began at Federated Department Stores in the management training program in buyer, merchant and marketing roles.  He spent 15 years in the cosmetic industry with Elizabeth Arden, Christian Dior, Revlon, and Parfums International in various roles working with celebrity, high profile fragrances by Elizabeth Taylor, Karl Lagerfeld, Nino Cerruti, and the House of Fendi.  At Hartmann Luggage, he served as Executive Vice President of Product Design, manufacturing, Marketing and Global sales.  He expanded global distribution into Japan and England, while expanding retail outlets throughout the U.S.  At Talalay Global, the world’s largest producer of Talalay Latex, as the Global Marketing Officer he guided the company to marketing dominance throughout the world and lead the rebranding of the company and its subsidiaries to achieve modern-day relevance.  As CEO and President of Ingram Design Collective, Ken built two start up fashion clothing companies while mentoring next generational family wealth management.  Most recently, he founded Hinman Consultancy LLC in the greater Nashville area focusing on Branding, Marketing Messaging, and Organizational Operations and Coaching.

Kens deep passion for branding, brand messaging, and marketing has been his driving force in building new and distressed companies. He has been a confidant and advisor working with Family Wealth and Succession Planning.  Known as a teacher and mentor for young entrepreneurial minds he has guided leaders to success. His strength is in partnering with management teams to create brand relevance and strong consumer awareness, while reducing cost and retaining mission critical talent.

His commitment to community service has been life long as an active director with various board positions at Learning Matters, First Steps, Youth Courts, Make a Wish Foundation, and Vestry of St. Timothy’s Episcopal.
