Phil joins Compass as an experienced executive coach, mentor, and advisor, after over 3 decades of broad business experience holding various executive leadership positions from President & COO to leading sales and marketing at both publicly held and private equity backed organizations.  He has deep expertise serving the healthcare industry where he gained valuable experience in physician practice management, business development, M&A integration, supply chain and client service operations.  He is an adept process driven facilitator and collaborative communicator who equips business leaders and owners to plan their future, develop team excellence, inspire transformational change, and emerge as successful, customer-centered, highperforming, profitable growth driven organizations. 

Phil came to Compass Phil was the Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing at AdvantEdge Health Solutions, a private equity-backed revenue cycle management company based in Warren, N.J..  He lead the re-branding launch and new business development as the top sales & marketing executive.

Prior to AdvantEdge, Phil held 3 leadership roles at McKesson, a leading technology and supply solutions publicly held company.  As Sr. Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Specialty Health, Bolger served as the executive sponsor for complex strategic projects, integrating acquisitions,and facilitated highly coordinated team efforts across several of McKesson’s businesses and diverse offerings to create innovative customer solutions and value.  Previously, Bolger was the strategic business unit General Manager for Specialty Health Distribution & Physician Services transforming the unit from $1B to over $4.5B in revenue.  Phil joined McKesson as the Vice President - National Accounts for the Health Systems Group where he managed and substantially grew relationships with McKesson’s large national healthcare providers and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).

Prior to joining McKesson, Bolger served as President & COO of Briggs Corporation, a direct marketing, manufacturing and distribution company serving the long term care and home care sectors. Bolger began his career in healthcare with American Hospital Supply (later becoming Baxter Healthcare and Allegiance Healthcare) where he held several sales and general management positions over 17 years.

Bolger received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, College of Business from Louisiana State University. He is married for 38 years to Mary Ann Karides Bolger with 2 grown children now pursuing their own life’s purpose and dreams.  He has served on a number of community charities to include theChair for the Board of Trustees at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society - TN Chapter.  He is a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, and continues as a SCORE Mentor.  Bolger was previously on the Board of Trustees for the Specialty & Biotech Distributors Association (SBDA) and amember of both the Healthcare Distribution Management Association (HDMA) and Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA)
